In Keystage 2 children increase their skills and begin to acquire the ability to discern themselves when and where to use ICT. Different areas of the ICT curriculum are covered using an exciting scheme where each unit is titled 'We are.......  Samples of some of the children's work will slowly be added to the site. Each child has their own net book which enables them to use ICT across the curriculum, 'any time and anywhere'.

We cover all different areas of the ICT curriculum and Use ICT in a cross curricular way, integrating it into as many of our lessons as appropriate. We encourage children to suggest and decide when ICT is appropriate and which software is best suited for the task. E safety is also at the heart of all we do and is covered in many different ways.

In the pictures above you can see examples of animation, desk top publishing, data handling, control, data collection, comic making, being photographers and sports presenters. We have made travel programmes and also programmed sprites and creating our own computer games. We have made our own websites,  created and carried out on line surveys, some of us keep a weekly blog of our learning and have on line discussions using Merlin our VLE. We all love to use Education City and Interactive resources maths site ( our subscription sites, which we can use at home) to help and consolidate our learning.  We all love ICT as it inspires and motivates.
